Synopsis
When Judy Peabody, a spirited hat-check girl at New York's prestigious Stork Club, rescues an elderly man from drowning, she has no idea he's actually a millionaire in disguise. As a token of gratitude, he anonymously lavishes her with luxury gifts and an unlimited bank . But when Judy's soldier boyfriend returns home and discovers her newfound wealth, he suspects the worst, forcing Judy to navigate a comedy of errors while trying to prove her innocence and follow her dreams of becoming a singer.
